Just a short word today since I was not able to log on until one a.m.
Since we have always lived in the boondocks, everything requires a long car ride to get somewhere. After reading back some of my previous stuff I realized how I used this travel time to talk to my kids about things that I wanted them to learn. This became so routine that we practically have to be in a car now to talk to each other. I have noticed something similar going on with my mom and myself, we can't talk to each other nearly as well in person as we can on the phone! Any way, I highly recommend the moving car when trying to talk some sense into your kids. They are little hostages that have to listen until you stop the car, and man, I can drive forever if I need to.
